What it shows
Every program builds a roster one of two ways: lock down the home region (a local fortress) or pull talent from everywhere (a national brand). Pull up a team and the map shows exactly where its recruits come from, and the strategy becomes obvious at a glance.
How I built it
Recruiting-class data is geocoded to hometowns, then rendered with D3 over a TopoJSON basemap. The interaction is built to answer one question fast (where does this team get its players?) without burying you in numbers.
