An interactive map of SMU football's 2024 schedule, from Carolina to California, built by scraping the schedule and mapping every trip.
What it shows
SMU’s first season in a power conference meant a lot of miles. This map traces the whole 2024 schedule across the country, so you can see the travel demands of conference realignment at a glance.
How I built it
I scraped the published schedule, geocoded each opponent, and drew the routes with Python and folium. A small project, but a clean example of turning a public schedule into something you can actually explore.
